Best Warhammer Online Players Inspiring In-Game Statues

In one of the latest developer diaries (via Wired) for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, content design lead James Casey asked, "How do players in game know who's number one?" Thus in patch 1.1, statues of the best players will be placed in the middle of the game world's capital cities.Although, "immortalized in stone" probably doesn't work here like it does in the real world - Casey explains the statues were set up to be dynamic so they could "update themselves as players clawed their way into the list or got pushed violently out."
 
Additionally, Casey teased that there might be additional rewards for those whose avatars become immortalized in stone and even possible bonuses for those who take out these top-ranked player-versus-player people.Well, there's always leaderboards, but for the Warhammer team, that's not good enough.
