They should create a buyer beware sign for any Warhammer Online leveling guide that came out before the open beta was released early September of 2008, because those guides are of poor, poor value, and anyone purchasing one is going to get an inferior guide.The reason that those Warhammer Online leveling guides are scams is because the game was not released to the public – what was released was what is known as “Closed Beta” – a short period of time (one weekend) where a very select group of people can play a limited version of the game with various aspects of the game taken out in order to catch bugs and create a buzz about what the game is like.

Because the game is limited, any Warhammer Online leveling guide that was “complete” during that period was working off faulty data, because the games were incomplete.  Within just a few days after the closed beta, over 40 different guides were “released” each promising to level up the characters to level 20 the fastest way possible.

And as we’ve established, that was not possible, because the ways to level up the character were incomplete. Those same people are going to be completing the guides within the next few weeks on the real game, but at that point they will already clearly not fully understand the game and there is no way that they will be accurately completing the guide on the real information.How could you show the best way to level up a character if the game is incomplete?The sad thing is that not only was there a Warhammer Online leveling guide created one a false game – there were dozens.
