Any MMO goes through a period of adjustment and tweaking after launch and Warhammer Online is certainly no exception. A posting by Mythic General Manager Marc Jacobs on the official website for Warhammer Online details some of the biggest changes to date. According to the message, the game will be introducing a number of changes to the world's Open RvR system to encourage more players to participate in lower-tier castle sieges. The lack of players in lower levels once the majority of the player base has reached max level was a frequently cited concern in reviews of the game.In addition, the company is working on adding new and more elaborate RvR-related quests, adding in a new "fame" system that would offer recognition within the Tome of Knowledge to good players and implementing more and better rewards for guilds who capture keeps.

According to the post, one of the major new systems being put into the game is an "influence" system similar to the one used for various public quests. This would allow players to gather points toward decent loot and benefits merely for participating in lower-level castle siege areas. The game is also improving map travel by allowing players to have a second bind point and more quickly get to areas where big PvP fights are occurring.
