The Realm vs Realm Portion of the game is WAR's bread and butter

You have your typical good guy vs bad guy scenerios. The two sides clash on the field of battle type of deal. Gameplay wise, WAR is very close with World of Warcraft. You purchase your skills/spells from trainers. Leveling up is mainly done from quests instead of grinding. The game is also very solo friendly (even though solo gameplay is very...disappointing). The controls are very easy to pick up, however it could be improved upon. 

The whole solo portion of the game is somewhat slow. Unfortunately, this part is neccesary for progression. You will be able to level up your character after roughly 8-10 quests or so each level, depending on how much regular griding you do, which luckily isn't needed all that much. The most griding you will do is when you are trying to get enough influence from the public quest portion of the game, again this part is all for progression.

Equipment seems to play a fairly big part (duh), but there does not seem to be much of a variety. Mythic Entertainment could have definately put more effort into this aspect in the game in my opinion. For example, weapon graphics...there is not much of a difference between them.While we are on the note for Public Quests. A nice concept we got going here. If there are other people in the area, you can team up together to do these quests, which in the long run will get you some fairly nice gear for your respected level.
