IGN: Tell us a bit about Bonesmasha. He's a Space Ork, and he likes to bounce around a bit. What makes him so dangerous, and how are you supposed to attack him?

Philippe Boulle: Bonesmasha is an Ork Warboss--in fact, the Ork Warboss behind a lot of the action in the game. He's an elite level boss, designed to be a challenge even at the end of the campaign.

At his core, Bonesmasha is the ultimate combat brick. He deals huge amounts of damage in close combat and can soak up even more. Offensively, he's capable of several devastating special attacks, such as a linear blast that causes the very ground to explode. He can also execute a powerful leap to trigger a shockwave that stuns and knocks enemies back. In addition he uses stikkbombz (Ork grenades) and waves of Ork Boyz to great effect.

The trick with Bonesmasha is to maneuver him into position for your own special attacks while avoiding his. His behavior is relatively simple but brutally unforgiving--one mistake, and you're picking up your squads' guts off the battlefield.

Because he's a late game boss, there's no one way to deal with him. Players will have a wide variety of tools by this point in the game--the key is using their favorite combos to best effect. To give just one example, you might plant a remote detonator charge and then maneuver him into position. Of course, whoever you use as bait better have a way to get away from the blast in time.
