Almost everything worth researching, unlocking or buying requires plenty of power. There are ways to boost power generation. You can build an array atop power nodes that you control which not only boosts their power draw slightly, but it also slows down enemy attempts to capture the node itself. They must destroy the array before they can begin capturing the node. Then there are separate power generators that you can build next to a power node. These increase power generation significantly, but the downside is that if the enemy captures the node, they also capture the generators.

It all comes together to create a game that's fast paced yet deep. You and your allies must launch a powerful assault, only to have it peter out and then watch as the enemy regroups and launches an equally powerful counter-assault. The maps aren't particularly huge, but they're big enough that having six players on them still left plenty of room to maneuver. There were plenty of places on the map that were caught in the fog of war, so we didn't have an idea where the enemy was until our units made contact. It's also important to coordinate with your team; it's really handy having one of the members of your team able to construct defensive structures that augment the firepower of your units. It can make a huge difference between defeat and victory.
